Question: How much does the grocery delivery service cost?
Answer: The delivery fee is determined by the grocery bill total. Below is a break-out of the delivery fee:
$30.00 to $150.00 = $15.00
$150.01 to $200.00 = $25.00
$200.01 and up = $45.00
Question: What are the delivery days?
Answer: Our current delivery days and times are Monday thru Friday, between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday, between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Question: Do you offer same day delivery?
Answer: Yes, but this depends on the availability of our personal shoppers.
Question: Are there any additional delivery fees?
Answer: We always ensure that our customers know all delivery fees up front. Here are the additional list of delivery fees:
$7.00 - $10.00 fee for late orders that require a same day delivery
$10.00 fee for late orders requiring next day delivery
$10.00 fee for orders during a holiday week (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day)
Question: What is the delivery cut off time?
Answer: All orders must be received by 2:00 pm for next day deliveries. That includes online, fax and telephone orders.
Question: What if something is missing or I am not satisfied with the items my personal shopper selected?
Answer: It is our goal to make sure our customers are completely satisfied. If for any reason you are missing items from your list, you received damaged items or you are not completely satisfied with your selected items, please call (512) 983-8685 and we will handle your concerns immediately.
Question: What items cannot be returned.
Answer: This is handled on a case by case basis. However, a few items that we absolutely cannot accept for return are perishable items such as meal, milk, cheese etc. We will also not accept open items or half eaten items. Question: Does Choice Express Delivery Service delivery alcohol or tobacco items?
Answer: No, due to applicable state laws concerning the sell of alcohol and tobacco products. We do not except to offer this service in the future.
Question: How do I pay for my order?
Answer: Currently we accept all major credit and debit cards. We use the PayPal gateway to ensure you a safe and secure transaction. PayPal is one of the leading providers of online payment gateway services. While we do accept cash, you must have placed at least three previous orders to use cash as a payment option.
Question: Where do you purchase your groceries?
Answer: We purchase groceries from the local grocery stores. In addition we can shop at warehouse clubs.
Question: Does someone have to be present to accept the groceries?
Answer: Not necessarily, however we must have advance notice if there will not be anyone present to accept the groceries. You can call and request a safe storage cooler for your groceries. While our coolers do keep most items fresh, we recommend that someone be available to accept the groceries. We are not responsible for items left in the cooler. Please call (512) 983-8685 to advise us that you will not be available to accept your grocery delivery.
Question: What if the item that I am looking for is not offered on your website?
Answer: We will attempt to locate the item at another grocery store. You may also email us the item information and we will add it to our product list. Customer suggestions are an important part of our growth.
Question: Can I rent DVD's without purchasing groceries?
Answer: No. You must place a grocery delivery order to rent DVD's. We hope to offer a DVD rental membership in the very near future. All DVD rentals are for 3 days. Any DVD not returned after the 4th day will incur a $1.00 per day late fee.
Question: How do I return my DVD's?
Answer: Simple. Place your DVD's in the prepaid return envelope provided by your personal shopper, drop it in the mail.
Question: How does your restaurant delivery service work?
Answer: Currently customers may call the restaurant of their choice and then call us to pick up their order. You may also select from a list of menu's on our site and call us with the order. We will then quote your price along with your $8.00 delivery fee. We do not pickup orders from multiple restaurants.
